1 Platform
online + in-store + lab + services
Managed Product Data is a library of cameras, lenses, and accessories built and maintained by dakis, ready to sell on your webstore. Records cover cameras, lenses, drones, printers and consumables, professional studio gear, frames, and accessories. Product information comes directly from manufacturers and flows into your account, ready to activate and sell at your own pricing.
What it is

Built for
- Specialty photo and video retailers selling equipment and accessories online
- Stores that want a maintained catalog without building product records internally
- Retailers adding a brand or category and needing records ready to activate
How it fits
Your Webstore connects directly to your dakis account. Product data flows in through Product Catalog, so you can activate products, set pricing, and start selling. Inventory stays aligned with your point of sale so online and in-store stock remain consistent. When a customer completes a purchase, the transaction appears in your unified reporting.
Why customers choose it
- Sell with images, specs, and descriptions built from manufacturer source material
- Launch without building or maintaining a product database of your own
- Get new products added daily, including major releases as they are announced
- Request a missing product and have it built for every dakis retailer
- Activate a full inventory in bulk from a spreadsheet of UPCs, SKUs, and prices
- Set your own pricing, sales, and which products you list.
Why dakis
dakis works directly with manufacturer reps and product teams to build records that include product images, video, names, specifications, descriptions, California Prop 65 safety warnings, and identifiers such as UPC, MPN, and EAN. A dedicated team adds new products every day and corrects records as manufacturers update them.
When a retailer requests a product that is not yet in the catalog, it is built once and made available to every dakis retailer. The catalog grows with the industry rather than behind it.

Available options
Starter
Retailers launching their first online store with core storefront and transaction capabilities.
Standard
Retailers syncing an existing POS or inventory system and needing quantity management through POS integration or CSV import.
Advanced
Retailers looking to drive higher order values with branded category pages, product bundles, and accessory packages.
Enterprise
Complex or high-volume operations that require custom development and dedicated support.
To launch a full inventory, export your products from your existing system with UPCs, SKUs, and prices, and run the file through the activation wizard. Products are matched on UPC and go live with your pricing and any sale pricing already applied. Adding products one at a time is best for small updates.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns the print sale when a client orders from a gallery?
You do. Print orders route into your own lab workflow and produce on your own printers. Gallery platforms built for photographers send fulfilment to their partner labs and take a share of the sale.
Can photographers deliver galleries to their own clients through my lab?
**[To be answered by the dakis team. The product sheet references a Pro Event Hub option for photographer-initiated ordering from off-site]
Are client galleries private?
Galleries are password protected, and previews can be watermarked. Clients view, order prints, and download from one place.
What can a lab deliver through Photo Gallery Platform?
Scanned film, portrait sessions, and event photos. Clients browse, order prints, and access downloads, and print orders flow directly into your lab workflow.
How much storage comes with each plan?
**[confirm] Standard covers 2,000 photos and 20 GB, Advanced 10,000 photos and 100 GB, PRO 50,000 photos and 500 GB, and PRO Plus 100,000 photos and 1 TB.
